In booking a course with Chateau de Combis, you acknowledge acceptance of our general terms and conditions. Please take your time to review them.
Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of the booking and payment to Chateau de Combis.
In the event of cancellation by Chateau de Combis, your payment will be returned in full. If you cancel the booking a full refund per person applies where written notice of cancellation is received more than 60 days prior to the course. Cancellations received 30 to 60 days prior to arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge of 50%. No refund will be made for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to date of arrival. Once the week has commenced there will be no refunds on unused portions. Cancellations due to medical reasons can be covered by travel insurance. We reserve the right to modify or cancel a program prior to commencement for any reason. In the event that you cancel at any time, there will be no refund for the unused portion.
The Chateau de Combis is not liable for any damages, accidents, injuries, risks, losses, delays, or expenses caused by our suppliers, nor for problems caused by conditions out of our control. These conditions include but are not limited to: accidents, war, terrorism, civil unrest, sickness, theft, fire, and inopportune weather. Chateau de Combis reserves the right to refuse to accept any person as a participant of any program or to cancel any program or a tour if circumstances warrant.
We do not arrange for visas, driving licenses, passports or any other travel documents. It is the responsibility of each tour participant to have a valid passport, required visas and any other travelling documents required by governmental regulations. Chateau de Combis is not liable or responsible for problems related to these documents, or the lack of them, or for the recovery of lost documents. We highly recommend to each participant to bring photocopies of his/her passport, visa, driver’s licence and insurance papers on the trip, but to maintain them separately from the originals.
The Chateau de Combis does not provide or write travel insurance. On booking a cookery course, we ask that participants provide their own personal travel insurance. Such insurance should cover: full medical expenses, personal baggage, personal accident, accidental loss or damage to property, cancellation of a program due to any reason, personal liability, legal expenses and emergency.
These terms and conditions and a participant’s acceptance of them by booking a program through us, are governed in France by French law, and both parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of French courts at all time. We will at all times aim to resolve any issues through clear communications, understanding of responsibilities and good customer service.
